🩵 On the 15th of May, you will get the chance to dive into the topic of community circle. Community circles are one way to help new or existing groups build (or repair) their connections with each other. Based in indigenous North American practices and in resonance with many other cultures, the simple but important elements of these circles create the opportunity for group members to speak, hear, and create a holding space together. Community circles can be used for getting to know one another, dreaming new futures, resolving conflict, or restoring what has been harmed. 🧩 Come to this workshop to experience a community circle, learn how to keep a circle yourself, and discuss with others about how we can both create communities in times of joy and repair communities in times of pain. 🍄 The workshop little fee includes yummy fika and a zine on Community Circles! 👩🏫 This workshop is led by Susan, a songwriter, musician, and facilitator. She was trained in community circles at The Home for Little Wanderers in Massachusetts, USA.
